Vintage Wine Tastings- Tabali 2013
Name: Tabali
Category: Reserva Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Limari Valley, Chile
Year: 2013
Price: $15
Winery Review:The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc Reserva is un-oaked and without malolactic, from a selection from the Talinay vineyard and 20% from the Tabali vineyard. It has an herbaceous note of asparagus and peas, a chalky sensation, and a fresh palate with bitter and citric flavors. It’s a superb value.
My Review: When I first saw this wine, it had a very beautiful pale golden color which was appealing to look at. However, I did not like this wine because I am not a fan of veggie flavors in the wine. The presence of the the flavors made the wine almost too overwhelming to drink.
