Vintage Wine Tastings- Closerie Saint Antoine

Name: Closerie Saint Antoine

Category: Viognier

Region Languedoc, France

Year: 2015

Price: $13

Winery Review: Light yellow color with green reflection. At first, this Viognier exhibits some citrus and pine aromas, after some time in the glass, it develops peach and mango. In the mouth, it is quite lovely with a great fruit forward approach. It is intense and balanced at the same time. The finish is long and offers an array of flavors, such as ripe peach and pear with creamy, lemony nuances.

My Review:  This wine had a very lemony smell which was very appealing to me. When I took the first sip, I really liked the wine because it was citrusy but it was not overly lemony at the same time. I could also taste a bit of fruity flavors but was not able to distinguish much. I would love to have this wine with pasta.
